Putting their best foot forward, BBCA’s direct mailer unabashedly touted the very Britishness of it all. We emblazoned the map of America with the British flag, to represent the “colony” of loyalists that crave—almost literally—the network’s programming (think Doctor Who). Inside, we let the facts blow their own trumpet, with bold callouts of ratings and record viewership. What did the Brits say? It was a corker. (Translation: it was great.)
